Since 1986 the Egon Steigenberger Prize has been awarded to staff whose performance and talent promise a successful professional career.
The Steigenberger Hotel Group intends the Egon Steigenberger Prize to provide excellent new entrants to the industry with additional opportunities and to smooth their path to a future career. Thus this prize is more than a recognition of outstanding marks. It is also an indication of the high value which our company places on the professional encouragement of young, talented managers.
That is why the Egon Steigenberger Prize, which is worth € 10,000, is not awarded as a cash prize, but to finance career-enhancing arrangements in Germany and abroad, which will make a vital contribution to further training.
Staff working for Steigenberger Hotels AG who are not more than 30 years of age may be nominated for the Egon Steigenberger Prize. They must have completed an apprenticeship in a hotel discipline, have been with the company for at least a year and intend to remain with the company for at least a further year.
